    CARBOHYDRATES

    Contains the right kinds and amounts of carbohydrates to replenish glycogen stores after a hard workout. Immediately after exercise, the body can absorb more energy than at any other time.

    COMPLETE PROTEIN

    Only complete protein is used to rebuild muscle, so we start with organic rice protein and supplement with the nine essential amino acids to make a perfectly complete protein. Tailwind Recovery Mix contains 3x more complete protein than whey protein isolate per gram, making it much more efficient for rebuilding muscle.

    Lovely flavour. Helps you recover from the rigeurs of exercise.

    After running 10k and half marathons recently, I have taken to drinking 500ml of the chocolate recovery drink. It’s flavoursome, not creamy or milky but just a faint flavour of chocolate shake. Usually after running I get a tired feeling and my muscles and limbs are heavy however after drinking this recovery drink, I don’t have this feeling. I am ready to exercise much sooner than usual. Can’t recommend this enough and have been telling all my friends.
