The information we need to know to do this is your Personal Data and includes your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and we’ll also need to collect payment card details. We collect this in a number of different ways but most frequently you will provide this data to us directly online as part of the order process.

If you choose to do so you may also share your image, details of races or events you have entered and to post comments and reviews.  This may include personal data relating to your health (a ‘special category’ of or ‘sensitive’ personal data).  We will ask your permission if we need to record any sensitive personal data.

How will we use the Information and on what basis?

We use the data collected from you to  manage our relationship with you, provide goods, respond to enquiries, communicate with you via newsletters and list achievements (in line with preferences) and to monitor and record information relating to the sale of our goods and use of our website.

The basis for using Personal data is to meet the requirements of a contract and in accordance with a legitimate interest in order to improve the services and experience

Personal data will not be shared with any third party organisation except with card payment service providers as an essential requirement for credit/debit card validation,  if we are required to do so by a legal or regulatory authority for example with fraud prevention agencies or other third parties that assist us in preventing fraud or other forms of risk, our insurers, legal advisers or other third parties who need access to it in the context of managing or investigating complaints and with third parties who work with us to promote Tailwind, for example at events.

Right to be informed:  This privacy notice tells you about the ways in which we use your information as a result of you using this website.

Right to Access:  You have the right to ask us for a copy of any personal data that we hold about you. This is known as a “Subject Access Request”. Except in exceptional circumstances (which we would discuss and agree with you in advance), you can obtain this information at no cost. We will send you a copy of the information within 30 days of your request.

Right to Rectification:  If any of the information that we hold about you is inaccurate you can update or remove your personal details by logging into your account

Right to be forgotten:  You can ask that we erase all personal information that we hold about you. Where it is appropriate that we comply, your request will be fully actioned within 30 days.

In certain circumstances you may also want to ask us to stop processing your personal data for a specific purpose; and/or to restrict the way in which we process your personal data.
